We´ve heard you - and we took action. From May 2018 you will be able to pick up your Arctic Camper in Oslo. Just next to the Airport. O.K. - it will be 5km from the Airport but don´t worry - we will pick you up at Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). And if you´ll travel by train, our shuttle van will pick you up at Eidsvoll Verk, which is just 5 Minutes from our rental station. This service will be free of charge for our camper guests.
Oslo Airport (Gardermoen / OSL) is of course the main travel hub in Norway. Most international flights will go to OSL-Airport and there is also a train station at the airport. So it´s no big surprise that you want to start your camper trip trough Norway right at the beginning.
And yes - we started Arctic Campers in the very north on Lofoten Islands (because we love Lofoten). One year later we opened Tromsø because you were there to chase the Northern Lights and whales. But let´s be honest - the south of Norway has also so much to offer: Oslo - Norways capital, Bergen the 2nd largest city here, Trondheim (right in the middle), spectacular Flåm, Stavanger region, Geirangerfjord and of course the Ålesund and Sunnmøre region with all the famous attractions. Have you ever been standing at the edge of the breathtaking Preikestolen? So we are looking forward to meet you at Oslo Airport and we are excited about it just as you are.
One more thing …: We will offer a one-way-rental from our Oslo Camper rental station to Tromsø and the other way round. You asked for it.
