Senja is beside Lofoten maybe the most amazing place to visit up here in the North. You can approche the island by driving from the inland. In summer you can also take the sea link. Taking the ferry with the camper is the most recomended way to travel. If you are coming from Tromsø you can find the ferry timetable of the Brensholmen - Botnhamn Ferry on our guide website. Or if you are coming from Andenes you will find all information for the link Andenes - Gryllefjord on our website here.
Last summer we got some travel updates from the bridge of the Andenes - Senja ferry: In high season (July & August) You should be in line at least 1-2 hours before in Andenes and 3-4 hours before in Gryllefjord if you want to make it on to the ferry! Thanks Øyvind for the heads up.
