Just outside of the town Ramberg you drive down a small dirt track towards the sea. You will find a quite big spot to park with several fireplaces. From here you have a perfect view towards North - which brings good chances to see the Northern Lights in Winter or the Midnight sun in summer. This place also let you observe the Lofoten bird life pretty good. Many specious are breeding in the area or in autumn migrant birds are resting here before they to continue towards south. In Winter you should check the track condition for snow and ice, 4x4 only.

This location seems to be closed, there's a chain across the access road, with a sign saying "no camping". One can stay at the rest-stop 1 km to the east though, which has toilet facilities.

Tried in mid November, no snow but the path was still blocked off with a chain. Shame, walking down the path to have a look the spot looked great. Ended up at the beach camp in Flakstad instead which was also very nice and right on the beach. Great views both at night and in the morning

It was not accessible in winter. Snow was too high.
