Kattfjord Troms

This great camp spot right by the sea is a 40 minutes drive away from Tromsø. Drive down the dirt track from the main road (862). You can either park your camper on the upper part of the spot or almost down on sea level. At the upper part you find a fireplace. On the other side of the road is a waterfall, if you follow the beach to the left you will come to the small river. Here you can fill water tanks with fresh water. Also on the other side of the road is a stone pit, which supplies you with fire wood.

PIZZA OVEN

At this place you have to possibility to use the outdoor Pizza oven, build by the North & Beyond crew. Bring all the ingredients you need to make a Pizza. Do not forget firewood to heat it up. Once you have the oven on temperature, you can bake the perfect Pizza with an amazing view. You can find a "how to" use the oven on this website as a PDF download. This Pizza oven has been made out of an old ship wreck. They took parts from the fishing vessel Sandra B. which ran aground on the most northern part of the Lyngen Alps, close this wild camp spot Russelv or the hiking track Lyngenstuva.
