Synatur (glacier boat trips)

If you want to make a boat trip to the coast line of the glacier you should stop by Birger and Synnøve from Synatur. They will take you (minimum 2 persons) in a RIB boat on a 45-minute trip to the glacier. On these trips you might get lucky and see a wide variety of animals and birds. Quite common are porpoises and small dolphins (nise and springer in Norwegian), alone or in groups. Eagles are also a frequent sight, along with the reindeer. It’s also possible to spot a whale, a seal or a puffin, but these are not as common as eagles, reindeer, porpoises and dolphins.
