Nordlyskatedralen Alta

A highlight of Alta is the "Cathedral of the Northern Lights". The church was build in 2013 in a modern style - designed by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects in collaboration with architect Kolbjørn Jenssen of Link Arkitektur from Southern Norway. The building is shaped like a spiral which reminds strongly on the Northern Lights. Find more information about the church here. You can enter the church - find the opening times here.
