Shop Máze / Masi Finnmark

When you are on your way towards Kautokeino or Alta, Masi is a place you will pass. Maybe you are up for a stop, to grab a coffee or to shop somet groceries. At this place you will find some authentic Finnmark. The small grocery store has also a Cafe and a petrol station (only card payment). The Cafe is the social place for the 130 people living in Masi. If you are here at the right time - you will met some talkative locals. Or the kind shop owner will tell you how to prepare the reindeer meat you can buy from him. You will hear mostly Sámi language. If you want to impress with some snippets of Sámi: Good day = Buorre beaivi / Thanks = Ollu giitu / Good bye = Báze dearvan

Maybe you buy a lottery ticket, this place has produced some winners before. Once the weekly delivery van driver bought a ticket here and won a serious amount of cash. That is at least what we got told by a cup of tasty coffee today.

Monday - Friday: 10:00 - 16:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 14:00

Petrol / Diesel can be bought with card payment 24 hours a day.
