Steinfjord Senja

If the wild camp spot in Ersfjord is overcrowded, this place is a good alternative. Drive down to the parking, you will find a big space to park your camper van 20 meters from the beach. You have an open view into the Fjord and to the small village of Steinfjord. Benches have been placed at a fireplace. If you are late in summer the sun will hide every now and then behind the mountain peaks. The sound of waves and crazy seagulls are giving this peaceful place a nice bonus. This place is for some reason good for a cold beer and getting sun burned - at least this is happening while writing this guide entry in Steinfjord. If the weather is right, consider to hick up the mountain at the back, you will have a nice view over the Fjord.
