Fjellheisen Tromsø

Yes it's touristic, but it's worth it! If the mountain Fjellheisen is not covert in clouds, you should definitely consider a ride with the cable car. You will have a great view over the city Tromsø and the region. If you are the sporty type you can also hike up to the top. The hiking path starts beside the cable car station. On the mountain top you will also find a small restaurant and visitor platform. The cable car goes every 30 minutes. Make sure you buy a parking ticket before you go. The tour up and down including a coffee on the top, might take you about 2 hours. Fjellheisen is a perfect spot to chase the Northern Lights or to expernice the midnight sun, since you have a perfect view towards North-West.
