1 / 3The best-known stop on the Atlantic Road: an elevated walkway loops around the little island of Eldhusøya – an easy round trip for everyone, wheelchair-friendly and open every day all year. From here you get the classic view of Storseisundbrua, and on a stormy day the sea is even more impressive than in sunshine.
Toilets are open all year. The café, its windows patterned like a shoal of herring, is open every day from 1 June to 31 August, 10:00–20:00. Emptying motorhome toilets is not allowed. The car park is the largest along the road, but it fills up in summer – come early or in the evening.
