About
Fortellerdagan, the storytelling days of Vesterålen, take place in Nyksund in early September. Nyksund is a former fishing village in Øksnes, in the north of Langøya, a good ten kilometres north of Myre.
Besides the storytelling there are art exhibitions, among them the festival artist's exhibition in Fryseriet and the galleries of the village, and the cafés and restaurants of Nyksund are open during the festival.
