1 / 3Geitøya is the first stop on the Atlantic Road coming from Averøy. Short paths lead up to small hilltops with views over the skerries and of Storseisundbrua, and down to the water, where a wheelchair-friendly path and platform make a safe fishing spot under the Geitøy bridge.
In summer, a boat crosses from the quay in a few minutes to Håholmen, an old fishing village that is now a hotel – a nice detour for a meal or a walk around the island.
