About
Lindstrømfestivalen is a food and culture festival in Hammerfest in September, with a focus on food, polar history and outdoor experiences.
It is named after Adolf Henrik Lindstrøm, Hammerfest's own polar cook, who fed some of the toughest Norwegian polar expeditions between 1890 and 1920. Roald Amundsen himself wrote that no man had done the Norwegian polar expeditions greater and more valuable service.
