About

Lofoten International Art Festival, LIAF, is the longest-running art biennial in Scandinavia. It presents works by local and international artists with a strong sense of place, and it has no fixed venue: it takes place at different locations in Lofoten each time. The pin shows the organiser, North Norwegian Art Centre, in Svolvær.

The 2027 edition is curated by Filipa Ramos and explores how sound and attentive listening can bring together beings, places and histories.
