This is a big mountain day: a marked path of about 7 km from Øksfjord up to about 815 metres, starting almost at sea level. Count on about 850 metres of climbing each way, and about 9 hours both ways.
The walk starts from a car park in Øksfjord. Only go in clear weather, with good boots, warm clothes, food and water, and turn back if fog or snow comes in.
