Welcome to Uteplassen Sogndal – in the heart of nature, close to everything Uteplassen Sogndal is an ideal starting point for those who wish to experience the best of Sogn – whether you are seeking peace, nature experiences or an active holiday. We are centrally located in Sogn, with easy access to well-known attractions such as Nærøyfjorden, Jostedalsbreen, Nigardsbreen and Sognefjellet. Here you have both mountains, water, fjords and glaciers – all within reach. Fjærland and the Norwegian Glacier Museum are 12 km away. The area around Uteplassen offers great opportunities for hiking, mountain trips and fishing. You can start many hikes right from your door, and for fishing enthusiasts, there are several good lakes and rivers nearby with high-quality trout. A short trip away, you will also find Anestølen – a lively summer pasture where over 500 goats graze freely in the mountains. Here you can see real pastoral life and traditional goat farming. At the farm right by Uteplassen is Selseng dairy where you can buy locally produced cheese.
