About
We warmly welcome you to Gjerdset Turistsenter. We are surrounded by the spectacular Romsdalsfjellene, near the bay and the famous salmon river Rauma. The tourist centre has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We are an excellent starting point for day trips on foot, by bike or by car. Close to the fantastic Trollstigen, Trollveggen and a good starting point for a day trip to the Atlantic Road. The tourist centre is about 20 minutes from Åndalsnes, where you can find a shopping centre, grocery stores, police, restaurants, petrol stations, bars, etc…
We offer a variety of different cabins and apartments, so we have no doubt that you will find something that suits you and yours!
With us, we have no reception, which gives you as a guest more flexibility regarding both check-in and check-out. You will receive further instructions about check-in and check-out after you have booked your stay, or you can send us an email here if you have any questions.
Do you wish to bring your four-legged friend on your trip? This is of course allowed with us for a small additional fee, welcome to both two-legged and four-legged guests!
