The Northern Lights Festival, Nordlysfestivalen, has presented music and performing arts of high quality in Tromsø since 1988, and calls itself Tromsø's longest-living festival. It is held in winter, and 2027 is its 40th edition.
Concerts and performances in the evening, and with luck the real northern lights over the city afterwards.
