Søndre Hamre Camping is located by Eikern, one of Norway's cleanest and prettiest lakes, along the national road 35 between Vestfossen and Eidsfoss in Øvre Eiker, not far from Hokksund, Kongsberg and Drammen. The site has previously been a timber yard and a starting point for floating timber, and today it features a mix of grass and gravel. We are not a luxurious site, but there is clean water, toilets and waste disposal. The bathing water in Eikern is among the cleanest. Eikern is drinking water for Øvre Eiker and Vestfold.
