The Aurora Chase

Last year we came up with our Aurora Dome Camper. A camper van with a glass dome that will allow you to spot the lights from within the van with a 360-degree view. Just stick your head out into the dome and observe the sky for activity. The Aurora Dome Camper was a great success, many camper guests returned happy and with amazing Northern Lights pictures from their winter camper trip.

This year we came up with two new features to make the hunt for the lights in a camper van even better:

NEW AURORA DOME CAMPER

Stick your head out of the dome and check the Northern Lights activity. Read more about it below the picture.

Our brand new Aurora Dome Camper 4x4 Automatic gear. You get maximum in comfort and safety. The 4x4 drive and spiked tyres will keep you on the road and the 2KW diesel parking heater will keep you warm and comfy. The dome will give you the chance to sleep with a view into the Arctic night sky or under the Northern Lights.

NEW AURORA FORECAST

The ultimate tool to help you spot the Northern Lights. Read more below the picture.

Besides our travel guide, we developed an Aurora Forecast tool. It shows the Northern Lights activity now and for the next three days, and since autumn 2026 it goes one step further: for the best spots of our camper guide it gives the Northern Lights Chances in three-hour steps, aurora activity and cloud cover combined. The same chances sit on every place in the guide, and the guide map has an Aurora mode that colours all pins by their chance for tonight, tomorrow or the night after (Northern Lights Visibility Map). With a camper you simply drive to where the odds are best. This guide and a camper van will increase your chances to the maximum to see the Aurora in its full beauty.
